CAREER  OPPORTUNITIES
Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) has been established as an autonomous body through an Ordinance in 1999 by Government of Punjab, to promote/ develop the Technical Education and Vocational Training. TEVTA invites applications for the following positions for our Project Management Unit (PMU). The candidates must be team player, energetic, dynamic, result oriented having excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.

Project Director
Qualification: M.Sc / B.Sc. Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years hands-on technical expertise and proven ability of managing large projects in civil engineering, building and infrastructure. An analytical decision maker. Candidate must also have solid technical orientation, commercial acumen, excellent project & time management skills, affiliated with engineering software like Prima Vera, MS. Project, strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, and the ability to perform well under pressure.
Responsibilities: Candidate will be responsible for the overall project management, supervision, coordination and successful completion of the project in accordance with requirements, organizational policies/ procedures, contract specifications, and time and cost specifications. To this end, candidate will establish and implement project plans, manage project budgets and resources, enforce project standards, forecast revenues and profitability, and manage all quality assurance aspects and change control processes. As such, candidate will identify project barriers and recommend risk mitigation techniques, induct technical reviews, manage team allocation, mobilize qualified personnel for specified tasks, and prepare monthly
progress reports.

Senior Engineer (Civil)
Qualification: B.Sc. Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
Experience: Minimum 7 years experience of professional work especially in planning, management and construction of buildings.
Responsibilities: Candidates must have strong understanding of civil construction practices to include estimating, onsite construction supervision, management of documentation, manpower / material budgeting, and bid preparation for projects. The candidates will oversee all aspects of the project from initial bid through project closeout

Senior Engineer (Electrical)
Qualification: B.Sc. Electrical Engineering from a recognized University
Experience: Minimum 7 years experience of professional work especially in planning, management of electrical works involved in construction of buildings.
Responsibilities: Preparation of project cost and work-time estimates. Evaluation of engineering proposals, shop drawings and design comments for electrical engineering practice and conformance with established safety and design criteria, and recommend approval or disapproval. Conduct inspections for quality control and assurance programs, reporting findings and recommendations. Preparation of contracts and initiate, review and coordinate modifications to contract specifications and plans throughout the construction process. Planning, scheduling and monitoring of the projects. Perform supervisory duties such as recommending work assignments, approving leaves and completing performance evaluations.

Quantity Surveyor
Qualification: Diploma in Civil or Quantity Survey from Polytechnic Institute or College of Technology.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as quantity surveyor in well reputed organization with multiple
tasks.
Responsibilities: Managing costs on a wide variety of new projects. Undertaking costs analysis for project work. Performing risk and value management and cost control. Advising on procurement strategy. Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks. Preparing and analyzing costing for tenders. Allocating work to subcontractors. Providing advice on contractual claims. Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports. Valuing completed work and arranging payments. Maintaining awareness of the different contracts in current use. Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations.

Assistant Engineer (Civil)
Qualification: Diploma in Civil from Polytechnic Institute or College of Technology. Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in supervision of project construction.
Responsibilities: Candidates must have strong understanding of civil construction practices to include estimating, onsite construction supervision, management of documentation, manpower / material budgeting, and bid preparation for projects. The candidates will oversee all aspects of the project from initial bid through project closeout.

AutO Cad Operator     Qualification: DAE / F.Sc with Certificate of Cad Operator
Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in relevant field. Candidate should be able to prepare all kinds of drawing like Civil, Electrical and Mechanical etc.
Responsibilities: Generate new & revised architectural drawings. Drafted the preliminary designs. Do detailing work using AutoCAD. Do perspective presentation. Do Revision of all technical drawings basing it on the specifications. Assist in quantification of bill of materials based on standard estimating parameter guidelines. Responsible for the accuracy on the work out-put in the interpretations of plans, sketches and actual measurements. Involved in implementation and coordination. Assist in other office engineering works when required.
Accountant    Qualification: B.Com
Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in relevant field
Responsibilities: Preparation and monitoring of contracts and accounts, including developing initial costing. Managing cash flow, advance and expense reconciliation, billings, assisting teams in reporting and closing of each account. This position will require a good understanding of general accounting principles. Other duties as assigned.
