  • Administer the Oracle Database.
  • Monitor performance & oversee troubleshooting problems of the databases.
  • Prepare queries in SQL & procedures in PL/SQL.

  • Manage UNIX OS Administration.
  • Prepare Shell Scripting in UNIX.
  • Manage vendors on board and oversee Interdepartmental communication to understand user requirements & develop solutions accordingly.
  • Perform daily operational tasks.
Required Skills

*Should have good communication skills
*Should have the ability to work well in a dynamic operational team environment
*Should secure an aptitude to learn and grasp new things quickly
*Should be capable of working with Oracle tools like Toad, Enterprise Manager & Oracle Developer
*Should be able to work extended hours during the week and on weekends
*Should be able to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines

Desirable Skills
*Should be highly proficient in operating MS Office Suite; especially Word, Excel and Visio
*Should have core knowledge of Oracle Database (Administration/Developme nt) & UNIX environment
*Should have some knowledge about Oracle Database RAC (Real Application Cluster) and CRM (Siebel)
