The candidate must possess expertise/ specialization in a particular area suiting the requirements of university. Practitioners with sufficient teaching and management experience may be considered for appointment.

Retired ambassador / diplomat/ government servant of BPS-21 and above. Subject Specialist from Pakistan Armed Forces without a Ph.D. in the concerned discipline/area can also be considered provided he/she has sufficient expertise/international exposure in handling (I) National security policy (ii) Foreign and Economics Affairs (iii) Defence Policy and Military Strategy.
