Expanding Journalistic Horizons

The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) invites journalists to apply for the US-Pakistan Professional Partnership Program. This program will involve journalists from both countries working together and building real professional relationships, as well as the opportunity to learn about media reporting in each other’s country. Selected participants will spend up to 4 weeks beginning in Summer 2012 at a US newsroom. The program will also be knit throughout with the events and opportunities to experience US life, showcasing its diversity. Funding for this program is being provided by the US Department of State.

Eligibility:
    Pakistan citizens
    Bachelor’s degree
    Between 3 & 10 years of active journalistic work experience
    Currently working in a field of journalism, preferably in regional / local media

Grant Benefits
All expenses for Pakistani participants are covered by the grant, including travel, accommodation, meals, and materials. Dependents are not allowed on the program.

Box 1128 Islamabad. Please note that you cannot send application through courier to a P.O. Box address.
