Applications and nominations are invited for the appointment of Vice Chancellor, University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, having inter alia the following attributes:

    Possess distinguished reputation as a scholar and academician having close familiarity with academic functions both in class room teaching and research.
    Experience in higher education management.
    Capability and experience of resource mobilization.
    Leadership qualities for policy making in relation to efficient and effective management of all affairs of the University.

Terms and Conditions:

Tenure:
    Shall hold office during the pleasure of Chancellor/President for a term not exceeding four years.

Pay:
Mp2 package along with usual allowances or the other pay package applicable in public sector universities in Pakistan.
Other perquisites, allowances, etc:

    All other perquisites, privileges and allowances as currently admissible to Vice Chancellor of public sector universities in Pakistan.

    Certified copies of educational certificates/degrees/diploma.
    A detailed curriculum vitae of the applicant clearly highlighting all elements of the eligibility criteria and personal attributes.
    Copies of the research publications. Only publications in research journals of international repute as recognized by HEC should be included.
    Three recent passport size photographs.
    A write up not exceeding five pages containing personal vision on managing and improvement of the University.
