The ideal candidate should

• Hold a C.A. Inter / Finalist, ACMA, ACCA Qualified/ Part Qualified Degree
• Have 2 - 4 years of work experience in Corporate Accounting

Job Description

• Identify capital expenditures & ensure recording of the same in relevant GL codes.
• Recognize & record landed cost of imported & local equipment, services and civil work.
• Examine all month end closing entries and capitalization activities.
• Carry out monthly reconciliation of general ledger within FA module.
• Maintain a record of Accrued Capex and its subsequent reversal, as well as estimate the Capital.
• Review Capital Commitments at each quarter end.
• Oversee monthly Capex trend reports & analyze variances between actual & budgeted amounts.
• Analyze landed cost on monthly basis.
• Review CIP aging analysis and resolve long outstanding balances.
• Maintain & reconcile Cell Sites Data.
• Represent as a focal person or internal as well as external auditors.
• Prepare financial statements disclosures relevant to CIP and Fixed Assets.
• Prepare various reports for management and BOD.

Essential Skills

• Should have a strong command over International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in the respective area
• Should have strong command over financial reporting requirements according to Companies Ordinance 1984
• Should have fair knowledge of Income Tax and Sales Tax

Desirable Skills

• Should be proficient in operating MS Office Suite; especially Excel and Word. Back end knowledge will be an added advantage
• Should have fair knowledge of Oracle Financials
• Should secure strong communication and presentation skills
