Dr. A.Q. khan institute of biotechnology and genetic engineering
(KIBGE) one of the premier institutions of the country currently involved in research in the fields of agricultural, industrial and medical biotechnology and looking to develop a separate section on environmental biotechnology visionary persons with leadership qualities and proven research record in the field of biotechnology and genetic engineering are encouraged to apply for the following positions at KIBGE.
PROFESSOR (BPS-21)
Eligibility:
Ph.d from an HEC recognized institution in biological sciences (botany, biochemistry, biotechnology genera tics, microbiology. Physiology, zoology or an allied subject)
fifteen (15) years teaching/research in HEC recognized university or postgraduate or professional experience in the field of biotechnology and genetic engineering in a national or international organization
eight (8) years post-Ph.D level experience in HEC recognized university or postgraduate institution or professional experience in the field of biotechnology and genetic engineering in a national or international organization
OR
Ten (10) years post-Ph.D level experience in HEC recognized university or postgraduate institution or professional experience in the field of biotechnology and genetic engineering in a national or international organization
fifteen (15) research publications (with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years) in HEC recognized journals
PROFESSOR (TTS)
Eligibility:
1. Ph.d from an HEC recognized institution in biological sciences (botany, biochemistry, biotechnology genera tics, microbiology. Physiology, zoology or an allied subject)
2. eleven (11) years post-Ph.D level experience in HEC recognized university or postgraduate institution or professional experience in the field of biotechnology and genetic engineering in a national or international organization
OR
Seven (7) years post-Ph.D level experience along with at least 12 years of experience prior to Ph.D in HEC recognized university or postgraduate institution or professional experience in the field of biotechnology and genetic engineering in a national or international organization
3. Fifteen (15) research publications (with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years). In journals under the category of W (impact factor journals) recognized by HEC for this purpose
Application procedure:
I. application forms can be obtained from the office of he director general on payment of Rs.1000/- (non-refundable) through pay order in favour of KIBGE
II. Applicants are required to submit six (6) copies of the applications. Along with copies of the documents and published articles, latest by February 29, 2012 in case of Pakistan national serving/ residing abroad the last date of receiving the applications is march 15, 2012
III. In-service candidates are required to submit their applications through proper channel
