iv)      A scientist appointed on transfer from within system shall get project allowance in addition to his own salary according to Planning Commission rules/ regulation.

Dy. Project Director

i)       Ph.D in PBG / Agronomy / Plant Biotechnology / any other discipline of field crops OR M.Sc.(Hons) / M.Phil with no third division in his academic career with 10 years experience in R&D.

ii)      Seven research papers in relevant discipline in journals of international repute. Papers published in proceedings, extension papers, etc. will be considered as additional qualification.

iii)     A scientist appointed on transfer from within system shall get project allowance in addition to his own salary according to Planning Commission rules/ regulation.

Sr. Scientific Officer

i)       Ph.D or M.Sc.(Hons) / M.Phil in the disciplines of Crop production & Crop protection with no third division or grade D in the academic career.

ii)      Five years experience in BS-17 or equivalent for M.Sc. (Hons) candidates and two years experience for Ph.D. candidates in R&D.

iii)     Three research papers in journals of international repute. Papers published in proceedings, extension article, etc; will not be considered for this requirement
