Descon Engineering is seeking technical & experienced maintenance Shutdown staff for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical plant turnarounds:

1.     Shutdown Maintenance Manager
B.E. Mechanical Engineering, minimum 15 to 20 years experience in a similar role and should be able to manage a workforce of 2,500 on offshore gas plants. The successful candidates must have a proven track record in Turnaround or Shutdown projects. Must have understanding & practical experience of gas plant / oil refinery equipment maintenance & Turnaround planning. Should have good exposure of budgeting and resource managements, excellent communication and strong leadership skills to lead a large team of different nationalities.

2.     Area Maintenance Engineers
(Piping, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Vessels, Heaters, Reactors, Valves, etc.)
B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical, minimum 10 to 12 years experience in maintenance of static equipment in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical plants.

3.     Shutdown Planning Engineers
B.E./B.Sc Mechanical/ Electrical with minimum 5 to 8 years experience in planning & scheduling in large Oil & Gas plant shutdowns. Must be proficient on Primavera 3 / Primavera 6.

4.     Cost Control Engineer
Graduate with engineering background, 6 to 10 years experience in cost estimation, control and application of cost management processes in maintenance/ Shutdown contracts related to Oil & Gas industry.

5.     Contactors Execution Coordinator
Graduate with engineering background, 8 to 12 years experience in plant maintenance responsible for the daily coordination and control of sub-contactors, Interface with client, contactors and sub-contractors to ensure smooth execution and a successful Turnaround.

6.     QA/QC Engineers / Inspector/ Supervisor
 |B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical / Metallurgy, having 7 to 10 years relevant field experience in QA/QC in Oil & Gas plant maintenance. Should be able to implement IMS/QMS and should have sound knowledge of ASME codes and visual inspection of piping, static & rotary equipment.

7.     HSE Engineer / Officer
B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical / Chemical, minimum 8 years experience in HSE / Safety field in large plant shutdown activities of any Oil & Gas plant. Should be able to develop TRA & JRA and hazards identification during Turnarounds.

8.     Mechanical Supervisors
(Piping, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Vessels, Heaters, Reactors, Valves, etc.)
B.Tech/ DAE/DME Mechanical having 7 to 10 years experience in maintenance of Static equipments during Shutdowns / Turnarounds work in Oil & Gas plants.

9.     Rigging Supervisors/ Foreman
DAE/ DME Mechanical having 7 to 10 year relevant experience in rigging and heavy lifting during Turnarounds/ Shutdowns of plants. Having good exposure of cranes and safety measures of rigging. Should have valid rigging certificate by BVQI / LLOYDS / TUV or any other agencies.

10. Material Coordinator
DAE / DME Mechanical/ Electrical with 5 years experience. Knowledge on Tool, Plant, Consumables. Piping, E&I Material identification and handling. Capable to coordinate the issuance & handling of materials.

11. Electrical Engineers/ Supervisor
BE/DAE/DME Electrical with minimum 8 years of maintenance experience. Should be capable to supervise independently in electrical works during Oi8l & Gas plant Shutdowns / Turnarounds.

12. Instrumentation Supervisors / Instrument QC Supervisor
B.Tech/DAE/ DME Instrumentation with minimum 8 years of maintenance experience on instrumentations equipments during Oil & Gas plant Shutdown/ Turnarounds.

13. Workshop Coordinator
B.Tech/DAE/DME Mechanical, with 7 to 10 years workshop experience in equipment & vales handling and maintenance during Oil refinery / Gas plant Shutdown.

14. Welding Supervisor/ Foreman
DAE/DME Mechanical, with 7 to 10 years experience, well versed with welding of pipes, columns, vessels and strong in ASME/WELDING Standards and also able to perform welding as per WPS, PQR and guide the welders.

15. Transport Coordinator
DAE/DME Auto mobile, having 10 years experience of handling heavy machinery and transport.
