The Asst. Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operations and will assist the Installation Manager. He will coordinate with the Installation Foreman, General Foremen and Workshop Supervisor and ensure the smooth flow of the production of Aluminum products and installation work at sites.

The scope of Job will be from the point of signing the contract for Aluminum works and handing over the completed job to the customer.
 
Key Accountabilities:
  • Supervise the Production, Delivery and installation teams for all related activities
  • Ensure the manpower is optimized and  ensure set targets for productivity are achieved
  • Anticipate for abnormal peak and drop in workloads and manage workforce accordingly
  • Provide productivity / performance reports to Installation Manager
  • Assist in problem solving and provide customer support
  • Assist  marketing team in related Product Development in workshop
 
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
  • At least 5-6 years of experience in a similar field and environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production)
  • Good knowledge of MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Age maximum 35 years
  • Possess excellent project planning and management skills
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills in both Arabic and English
  • Hands on experience with some Aluminium Works design and estimation software will be added advantage
  • Knowledge and experience of design / estimating and preparing BOQ for Aluminium works jobs (related to Villas / light commercial projects)
