• Partner with the senior leadership and the board of directors to develop and implement financial and strategic policies across the organization.
• Oversee all statutory and compliance requirements with respect to Corporate Governance regulations.
• Control all financial functions including (but not limited to) budgeting, MIS, Treasury and Accounting.

The Financial Controller will report to and work closely with the CEO in steering the Companys activities towards achievement of corporate goals. As the head of the finance department, the Financial Controller shall also be responsible for all financial matters of PSC.

Duties and responsibilities

• Partner with the senior leadership and the board of directors to develop and implement financial and strategic policies across the organization.
• Oversee all statutory and compliance requirements with respect to Corporate Governance regulations.
• Control all financial functions including (but not limited to) budgeting, MIS, Treasury and Accounting.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and attributes:

• A minimum professional qualification (ACA/CPA/Others).
• Seasoned and mature leader with at least 12-15 years of broad finance experience in large professionally managed organizations (preferably port management/shipping industry).
• Experience of working with SAOG companies in Oman/GCC is preferred.
• At least 5 years experience in a similar senior financial management role, partnering with senior leadership and board of directors.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills.
• Fluent in English language with excellent written and oral communication skills (Knowledge of Arabic is preferred).

Less than 45 years of age with good physical fitness.
