Duties and Responsibilities:
• Direct and control the internal audit function and ensure that all financial standards, regulations and statutory provisions are complied with and there are appropriate internal systems, internal controls and procedures.
• Develop, monitor and implement the annual internal audit plan.
• Manage overall performance of internal audit assignments.
• Present audit reports to the Board Audit Committee and ensure implementation of any actions agreed.
• Maintain a working relationship with external auditors to ensure that they have all the information they require.

Requirements:
• More than 7 years of relevant experience in senior position in audit function (including 5 years of experience as Head of audit function) is required.
• Bachelors degree in Accounts and Qualified Chartered Accountant. Certified Internal Auditor will be an advantage.
• Proficiency (written and spoken) in Arabic and English languages is required. Omani nationals will be preferred.
• Less than 45 years of age with good physical fitness.
